Fall in Love with Love
Happy New Moon! Happy Lunar New Year (Year of the Tiger—Whoohoo!)! Welcome to February 2022!!!!
I started the first part of January sick as a dog and the second part playing catch up. So now I am finally ready for new beginnings, new projects and a new perspective.
I LOVE the month of February!!! It contains the Lunar New Year, it's Black History Month, then Valentine's Day and then my birthday right after that. It always seems like a magical month. The fact that it sometimes has an extra day in it on Leap Year increases that special magic for me. Even if it isn't a Leap Year, it is as though there is something extra in February just waiting for us to discover and claim it.
My goal this month is to fall in love. I intend to fall in love with myself again. I’m setting aside time for self-care—but instead of just putting the lotion on, I am going to mindfully anoint myself with love flowing through my hands.
I intend to fall in love with my sharing my gifts with the world, and all business tasks. When I sit at my computer, I am going to consciously connect to the love in my heart and feel it flow through my hands as I type. I will mindfully fill the air between me and the camera with love when I create videos or join zoom meetings.
When I become aware of myself becoming frustrated or feeling alone and hopeless, I intend to stop, breathe and reach out to someone I love and tell them how much they mean to me. I noticed when I was sick that I did the opposite. I isolated and shut down which only conjured more feelings of hopelessness and loneliness. Connecting to the love within and showering it on friends and family brought back the light that chased away the shadows.

One of the things I lost during my illness in January was my voice. My throat was sore and it was difficult to talk. It is slowly coming back to normal so I intend to love it up with all of my heart and soul. I am drinking soothing teas and being sure to keep hydrated. I am sleeping with my humidifier on plus steaming at least once a day to keep my vocal chords supple and happy. I am caressing my neck with gratitude hands and sending pink light filled with love to my voice. I also intend to sing more this month and fill my studio with love.
