Tilling the Soil

I just received a text from one of the actors who participated in the Magnetic Minds Program I led in April and May. It was a program that I offered the wonderful actors that participated in my Ace Your Auditions MasterMind last year.

The performing arts was one of the industries hardest hit during the Pandemic. Even Times Square, one of the most bustling centers in New York City, shut down and became a ghost town. It was really eerie to see all the majestic theaters completely dark and silent. I was searching for what was mine to do to help alleviate all the pain and uncertainty the world was experiencing. How I could use my voice to help? How could I be the light here? And after my morning meditation, this program come to me.

I offered it as a gift because I knew for most, there was no indication of when money would start coming in again. We worked on speaking our unlimited abundance into being, guided visualizations and took a deep dive into releasing old beliefs and mindsets. It was fulfilling to pay forward all my study of the laws and practices that lead to manifesting abundance.

So with the permission of this darling, talented performer I will share the text she sent.

“Monique, just checking in. I have some projects that I’m working on this week and I’m really good. Our group is still checking in 2-4 times a week which is really great and helping to keep the spirits up. We miss you! Btw, I had a huge manifestation happen and I haven’t had this much $$$$ in YEARS. You’re the best. I’m so happy to have you in my life and for you to have guided me to where I am today.”

Now, my dear friends, I have to tell you. My breath stopped and my heart caught in my throat after reading this text. You know that kind of freeze-frame that happens in the movies? I was struck with the thought, "You have been used!" I realized, I was an instrument through which the Universe had created a great manifestation. I received a Divine Idea. I stepped up to create the space for the Divine Idea to take shape. I sent out the invitation and these courageous souls answered, trusted the call and showed up. The soil was tilled, seeds were planted and now blooming is continuing long after the program closed.

The soil was tilled. This is a phrase that is so commonly used! I watched this dear client REALLY allow the soil of her mind to be "tilled" so new seeds could be planted. In fact, most of the actors in the program received money from different streams of income because they were willing to do the "tilling."

According to Wikipedia, "Tillage is the agricultural preparation of the soil by agitation of various types such as digging, stirring and overturning." When we hear manifestation stories like these, we usually focus on, "Wow!! She took a class, did a few exercises and manifested more $$$$ than she had in years!! I wonder if I can do that?" And, the truth is, most people can...IF they are willing to "till the soil of their thoughts and beliefs."

Although we all have dreams we would like to manifest, very few of us are willing to allow our thoughts and beliefs to be "dug up, stirred up and overturned" in order to plant new seeds or ideas. We know we have to change but that kind of overhaul is terrifying. What if I am no longer me when I get to the bottom of it? I know!!!

What I am finding out as I walk my talk and put these principles to work, is I am becoming MORE me. As I really examine the thoughts and beliefs that are running in the background of my life, I now get to choose if they are still serving me and if I still want to think and believe them.

One of the beliefs I vowed to change this year is "being visible is dangerous." Strange belief for an award-winning opera singer, I know, but there it is. I claim 2020 as my year to become more visible so I can be USED by the Universe to guide more people to their Power, Presence and Magnetic Voice.

What are you going to manifest or release this year? We still have half of 2020 left.

And remember: whatever you decide, I will be right there beside you. As you start releasing old ideas to make room for new ones, I will hold your hand. When you feel the fear, reach out and I'll create space for you to continue to step up and live the life you were born to live. Even if we don't know yet how we will bloom, we can be the light for each other as we patiently await the blossom.
